Monthly Fun Dives

Stay active, meet great dive buddies, and keep learning—one relaxed, well-run dive day at a time.

You got certified for a reason: to dive. But if you’re like most local divers, life gets busy, buddies’ schedules don’t line up, and before you know it your gear sits a little too long between splashdowns. Our Monthly Fun Dives are the easy answer—consistent opportunities to get in the water with other certified divers, enjoy the ride out, and keep building real experience in a supportive group.

These dives are exactly what they sound like: fun. No pressure, no performance. Just solid diving with a community that likes being out there as much as you do.

What our Monthly Fun Dives are (and why you’ll love them)

Our fun dives are recurring group dives for certified divers who want more than a once-a-year vacation dive. You’ll join a mix of familiar faces and new friends—locals who enjoy swapping stories, comparing notes on gear, and planning the next dive before the first one is even logged.

Expect a welcoming vibe and a straightforward plan: we organize the outing, set clear expectations, and help you show up ready. You bring your certification, your curiosity, and your “let’s go diving” attitude.

If you’re coming back after a break, these dives are also a comfortable way to get your fins wet again. You’re not the only one who’s ever thought, “I’m certified… but I could use a little rust-removal.” We get it, and we’ll help you ease back in.

Who should join

If you’re certified and you want consistent water time, you’re in the right place.

Our Monthly Fun Dives are a great fit if you:

  • want a reliable way to dive regularly without having to coordinate a full buddy group
  • enjoy diving with a community (or want to find one)
  • want to build comfort, buoyancy, and overall confidence through real-world repetition
  • like having a shop you trust to help you stay organized—gear, planning, and prep
  • are thinking about continuing education and want more experience before the next course

And yes—if you’re new to the area or you’ve mostly dived on trips, this is one of the fastest ways to get plugged into local diving.

What to expect on a fun dive day

A great dive day starts before we ever hit the water. We keep things clear and practical so you can focus on enjoying the dive.

You can expect:

A simple, organized plan. We’ll share the key details—where we’re meeting, what the day looks like, and what you need to bring—so you’re not guessing.

A real pre-dive briefing. We cover the dive plan, team expectations, and the kind of awareness that makes good dives safer and more relaxed.

A supportive group. Some divers are building experience, some have plenty of dives logged. The common thread is that we’re there to have fun and dive responsibly.

Help with readiness. Not sure if your gear is tuned up, your battery is charged, or your setup still feels right? Let’s talk before dive day. We’d rather solve small problems early than watch you troubleshoot them on the dock.

These aren’t “sink or swim” dives. They’re well-run, enjoyable days built around the idea that the best way to get better at diving is to go diving.

How to join (it’s easy)

Because locations, conditions, and logistics can vary, the best next step is simple: reach out.

Contact us and tell us:

  • you’re a certified diver
  • you’re interested in the next Monthly Fun Dive
  • anything we should know (recent experience level, if you need rental gear, if you’re returning after time off)

We’ll get you the current details, answer questions, and help you choose the right outing for your comfort level.

Keep diving after certification—this is how divers actually improve

Cert cards are a starting line, not a finish line. The divers who feel calm, controlled, and confident aren’t necessarily the ones with the fanciest equipment—they’re the ones who dive consistently.

Monthly Fun Dives keep you connected to:

Real experience. Trim, buoyancy, navigation habits, air management, buddy communication—these skills sharpen when you repeat them.

A dive community. Diving is better when you know people you trust underwater. Regular group dives turn “I need a buddy” into “I’ve got a crew.”

Your next step. If you’re considering additional training, regular fun dives help you arrive prepared and comfortable instead of feeling like you’re “taking a class to remember how to dive.”

If you want, we can also help you map out a progression that fits your goals—more local diving, a new specialty, or simply becoming the diver who feels at home in the water.
